Frustrated
What has happened to the Tabulas Control Panel? In the "entry information" section, the Entry title is displayed, as is the Entry Privacy Status. But what has happened to the other stuff? How can one change fonts, colours, add links, add pictures.... where has all that stuff gone??
Plus, the disable linebreaks thingy keeps showing up selected, and then I have no paragraphs.
I've put a couple of Help tickets out but no response.
Is it just MY tabulas, or are others having this difficulty? Have I missed a memo telling of changes? This is beginning to really tick me off.
Still waiting
Well, still do not know why I haven't got a control panel editor menu... not sure that's what it's called, but it's the nifty bar atop your Entry Text area that offers font choices and sizes, image attachments, links, indenting, smilies. In fact, if I go to the basic editor, it only offers the old smilies.
I have to manually put line breaks if I want paragraphs because they don't happen automatically anymore unless I choose the basic editor.
I can live without smilies, although they were nice to have. What I cannot live with is not having creative control over the fonts. If I knew how I'd make the font change permanent in my template. However, I didn't build my template and have no idea how or where to make the changes.
Speaking of templates.... I purchased the entire set of The Netter.com templates as she is no longer creating them. I had purchased one from her two years ago to use for my website but haven't gotten to it yet. It is online, via a friend, but I need to put text to it. I am clueless about all this and am entering complete unknown territory. It will be interesting to see how I manage it all over the next few months.
The goal is to use the website as a base, with links to my blog (here unless I decide to move to another blog site), my online shop (until I get something better set up), my online portfolio (which I may end up moving from tripod directly to my own website), my bookshop site (Sparkychicken.com... not set up yet) and my gallery, which will be onsite. All this is subject to change if I decide I want to simplify things.
I will soon be releasing a book.... hopefully two. I am publishing them via Lulu.com. I have low expectations for them, but that's good as it will make any successes that much sweeter.
Lots to do. And still no time to do any art! Why aren't there 36 hours in a day? *sigh*
